Johnny Depp "Devastated" Over The Loss Of His Friend And Music Collaborator Jeff Beck

Depp, 59, and the late Beck have been close friends for long. The two reunited their friendship during Depp’s defamation trial with his ex-wife Amber Heard last year. Not long after Depp’s victory in his defamation trial, Depp and Beck collaborated and released an album titled “18” on July 15, 2022.

After the release of the official music video for “This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr,” the first single from the album, Depp had some nice things to say about working alongside Beck in the making of the song.

Depp said, “It’s an extraordinary honor to play and write music with Jeff, one of the true greats and someone I am now privileged enough to call my brother.”

To prove how much Beck respects Depp’s effort in the song, Beck also said something good about Depp, “I haven’t had another creative partner like him for ages. He was a major force on this record. I just hope people will take him seriously as a musician because it’s a hard thing for some people to accept that Johnny Depp can sing rock and roll.”
