Sara Moran discovered a puppy on the streets of Peru that had been run over by a car one day.
Sara rescued the puppy and spent countless hours bringing him back to health since she is a huge dog lover. When she learned the dog had been paralyzed as a result of his injuries, she unknowingly embarked on a journey to become the city’s guardian angel for sick and injured canines.
Sara began rescuing sick and abandoned dogs in the community one by one and brought them home after she became aware of their plight. She saved the lives of numerous damaged and shattered newborns from the streets during the next decade. She ultimately decided to transform her modest home into an official dog sanctuary after she found herself living with over 70 rescued dogs in her small home!
Sara’s organization, “Milagros Perrunos” (which translates to “Miracles Dogs”), now houses and cares for hundreds of dogs. She specializes in caring for disabled and amputated dogs, and she has provided doggy wheelchairs to several of her rescues. She has also taken in a number of abuse and mistreatment victims.
Every day, the altruistic woman spends hours feeding and changing the diapers of the crippled pets. Sara has lovely baby cots in her house to ensure that the crippled, sick, or convalescent pets are as comfortable as possible.
She brings the dogs to the nearby beach with the aid of her great volunteers and lets them frolic and leap around like the happiest puppies! Because these dogs flourish in Sara’s care, it’s no wonder that despite their physical limitations, many of them are adopted into loving homes!
Sara is a real-life superhero because she is relentless in her passion and devotion to provide the downtrodden homeless canines a better existence. Her caring fight and dedication to save “broken” creatures have left us speechless. She’s a fantastic role model, and we wish her all the best!
