This is the most daring and reckless scuba diver in the world, who enjoys studying snakes and reptiles in their natural habitat and is always accompanied by a camera to document his crazy experiences with this monstrous river monster.
On a recent diving adventure in the Mato Grosso area of Brazil, Franco Banfi, a brave 53-year-old Swiss diver and snake aficionado, had the opportunity to photograph the kinder side of snakes in their natural environment, where he came face to face with a 26-foot-long enormous anaconda, armed only with his camera.
Franco Banfi, a courageous diver and snake enthusiast from Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, captured this shot of a large anaconda lying beneath the surface of a river. Perhaps everyone will have shivers when they see this. The courageous diver approached a giant anaconda resting on the riverbed, its scales gleaming in the tropical light.
Fortunately for photographers and divers, this massive snake has just consumed a capybara rodent and isn’t as keen to devour him again. “The snake seemed uninterested in us since it had just eaten.” Everything is possible, but I don’t think it would have eaten us. Banfi stated, “I was that close I could have touched it.”
Banfi claims to have seen six separate female anacondas during his 10-day expedition to the Mato Grosso do Sul region of South America. This destination is well-known for its abundant natural beauty, and it attracts a great number of visitors each year.
Surely, as soon as you get into contact with the animal, you go insane since you have no idea what kind of snake it is and assume it is very dangerous. However, after a while, you’ll see that if you appreciate them, they won’t harm you. This snake is generally lonely and shy, and it swims around rivers in search of food. They are rarely seen in the wild, but if we do, we must be cautious since, because to their immense size, we may become their lunch.
