Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been quoted as saying by BBC Sport that his teammate Darwin Nunez is “really fast”.
Salah made the comments about the Liverpool striker after the Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield on Monday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s side won the Premier League match 2-0.
Egypt international forward Salah scored the first goal.
It came after a stunning counter-attack from Liverpool.
Nunez was the main man in the move, and it was the Uruguay international striker who provided the assist.
While analysing his goal, Salah noted that Nunez is very fast.

ENCOURAGING
Now, Darwin Nunez did not score for Liverpool against Everton in the Merseyside derby on Monday evening.
The striker, though, did have two good chances.
However, other than that not taking them, Nunez played well.
The Liverpool star showed his pace, took up good positions, was a menace for the Everton defenders, and linked up well with fellow attacking players, including Cody Gakpo.
Nunez is a striker, and it is important that he scores goals.
The Liverpool player is not scoring.
That is his main problem.
Nunez, though, is playing well and is available on the pitch for his teammates.
The striker is getting chances.
He just needs to take them.
