Carlo Ancelotti is known for his man-management skills and that seemed to be one of the biggest reasons why he was able to get the best out of this Real Madrid squad last season, and guide them to a Champions League and La Liga double against all expectations. Things are not going as smoothly in this campaign though and it looks like not everyone is happy with the Italian coach.

Real Madrid broke their transfer record in the summer of 2019 in order to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea. It was considered as a great signing back then. The Belgian had established himself as a legend at Stamford Bridge and seemed to be in the middle of his prime at that point of time.

Unfortunately, things have not gone according to plan for him at Real Madrid though. Since joining the club, he has had to deal with one injury blow after another, and these days, he is barely even brought off the bench. And, it looks like his relationship with Ancelotti is not the best either.

As tweeted out by Mario Cortegana, Hazard barely speaks with Ancelotti and those who know him speak of personal disappointment with the manager.

Earlier on in the season, there was a real positivity around the situation of Hazard. It seemed like he was looking forward to finally getting his Real Madrid career off the ground.

Things have not gone that way though. Instead, he has spent most of his time sitting on the bench. In fact, his last appearance in La Liga came back in September of last year.

Thus, it is safe to say that it might be time for both Real Madrid and Hazard to part ways. Let’s see what happens in the summer transfer window.
