FORMER Chelsea star John Obi Mikel has revealed that Kevin De Bruyne was “always moody” during his spell at the club.
De Bruyne was considered a flop while he was at Stamford Bridge as he failed to become a consistent first team player.

The Belgian midfielder started to show his potential after leaving for Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
He then moved to Manchester City in 2015 and has gone on to become one of the best midfielders in the world.
Due to how his career has panned out, many have wondered why it did not work out for him at Chelsea.
De Bruyne only made nine appearances in the Premier League for the Blues.
Mikel however, has now suggested why the 31-year-old might not have become a success.
The former Blues midfielder said on Dubai Eye: “Kevin was always a stroppy guy, he was always on his own, he was always moody, he was always grumpy.
“You could never get anything out of him.
“But now when I watch him play… what a joy.
“What a joy to watch.”
The Nigerian also spoke on another Chelsea flop that has gone on to become a world beater.
When asked if he thought Liverpool star Mohamed Salah would go on to have the career that he has had following a poor game against Norwich in 2014.
Mikel replied: “No. He was in tears, and what happened is [Mourinho] didn’t let him back on to the pitch in the second half. He took him off.
“I think [Salah] was having a bad game and then obviously Mourinho came in and ripped into him, massively ripped into him.
“It would have been easy to just take him off and say ‘you’re not playing well, off you go, sit down, you’re not going back on to the pitch.’
“But he ripped into him and took him off.”
Salah left the Blues for Serie A and after excelling at spells with Fiorentina and Roma, he earned a move back to the Premier League with Liverpool in 2017.
Since then he has won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup and Club World Cup.
The forward has also netted 174 goals in 286 appearances for the Reds.
