Lionel Messi was reunited with his former team-mates Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, as they enjoyed a night out alongside their partners in Barcelona.
The PSG forward flew to the Spanish city with his family after helping his side secure a 4-3 victory over Lille with a stunning free-kick in injury-time to move five points clear at the top of Ligue 1 on the weekend.
The French giants squad, including Messi were granted some time off and the 35-year-old decided to make the most of it by heading back to Barcelona with his family.
Messi even managed to squeeze in a visit with a few of his former team-mates during his short trip.
His wife Antonela Roccuzzo posted a group picture on her Instagram profile outside a restaurant in Barcelona with partner Messi as well as Busquets, Alba and their partners with a caption of: ‘Night out with friends.’

Messi is expected to return for training on Wednesday as they prepare for a vital league clash against second-place Marseille before then also facing Nantes the following weekend.
PSG also will be keen to overcome a 1-0 deficit in the Champions League last-16 against Bayern Munich later this month – meaning it’s a vital run of games, therefore they’ll be hoping Messi and the rest of the squad come back refreshed.
His visit, however, will add to speculation over a potential return to the Nou Camp where he spent 21 years prior to joining the French giants after his contract expired.
Messi is out of contract at PSG this summer and is being heavily linked with a move back to Barca or to MLS outfit Inter Miami as well as numerous Saudi Pro League clubs.

He had looked set to agree a new one-year deal after agreeing terms with PSG, but he is now reportedly reconsidering his options.
This offers Saudi Pro League clubs hope in their pursuit of the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, and he has been linked with a move to the Middle East in recent weeks.
Messi’s father and agent Jorge was rumoured to be in Riyadh earlier this month to discuss a potential deal with Al-Hilal, who are reportedly willing to offer Messi £245m-a-year, making him the highest-paid player in the world.
Further reports have also claimed that Al-Ittihad are happy to trump this proposal by giving Messi an eye-watering £306m-a-year.
