Since the introduction of Jonathan Majors’ Kang in the MCU, fans have been wilding up for his story to unfold, and many have been speculating different theories about the character in the MCU. But one particular theory involving Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man has garnered attention.
Various factors of Jonathan Majors’ Kang have shared a resemblance with the MCU’s greatest hero and it wouldn’t be far-fetched to assume that Tony Stark might be the reason behind the existence of Kang in the MCU. Despite being the greatest hero of the MCU, it is a known fact that Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man was, directly and indirectly, responsible for the creation of a plethora of MCU villains, including Ultron, Zemo, Mysterio, etc. And it isn’t wild to assume that Tony Stark might also be the reason behind the creation of Jonathan Majors Kang in the ever-expanding MCU.
Many factors of the MCU’s next big baddie can be linked to Tony Stark’s inventions, with one being Kang’s ability to manipulate time, which was first discovered by Tony Stark in the MCU. And Kang’s suit has also shown a resemblance to that Tony Stark’s suit from Avengers: Infinity War, considering its reliance on nanotechnology.
And if the theories set correct, it might create a very interesting dynamic between the two characters, as Tony Stark could be the inspiration for Kang. And even though fans are hoping for a stand-off between the two in future installments, it is kind of a far-fetched thought at the present.
