Prior to the shooting of TUF 31, McGregor’s team was inadvertently revealed, causing a stir among fans. Chael Sonnen spoke about the news of three fighters being replaced in Team McGregor for TUF 31. Conor McGregor was in the limelight owing to the favoritism allegations. Sonnen said on the issue, “He didn’t like that one. He did not like it was being said that three guys had an opportunity taken from them to give like a nepotism-like opportunity to conor’s personal three guys. Said ‘I would never do that’”.

Moreover, the UFC legend said, “McGregor wanted to correct this. And I thought it was very interesting that he took time away to correct a statement that Danny Rubenstein had made… This must really matter to Conor.”

Furthermore, the UFC legend said, “But it sounds like Dana is saying is what Rubenstein said over that what Conor said. And I think that the way that Dana said it is the best.”
