With the borders between Queensland and New South Wales now open many visitors have flocked up north.
And it turns out that the Hemsworths are one such family that wasted no time leaving Byron Bay for a relaxing beach holiday in Queensland.
Chris and Liam Hemsworth were joined by Chris’ wife Elsa and their three children, India, seven, and twins Sasha and Tristan, six on the fun-filled getaway.
Also present on their trip to Rainbow Beach just north of Noosa were their good pals April and Luke Munro and their kids.
Posting to her Instagram account on Sunday and Monday, April shared a series of holiday snaps featuring her famous friends.
‘Wrapping up our first week away from home since the madness of the last few months. Was so good to get away and be in holiday mode,’ she captioned the photos.
‘Feeling lucky we get to holiday at all, so we squeezed every last minute out of it.’
One picture featured the Munro’s and the Hemsworth’s all sitting along the beach at sunset.
Another picture shows Elsa and April soaking up the sun as they lay by the water and enjoy a cool drink.
A third photo features the children getting ice creams while the Thor actor flaunts his muscular biceps.
Several other photos feature various members of the group sitting around a campfire enjoying the stunning sunset.
Prior to the fun-filled holiday, the Hemsworth clan had been at their Byron Bay mega-mansion throughout the COVID-19 lockdowns.
Chris recently told GQ that he was enjoying spending more time with family during this time.
‘A lot of my time is usually spent going from country to country on various shoots and I spend a lot of the time on a plane and at the airport, so I’ve really enjoyed the opportunity to stay in one place for a while with my family and friends,’ he said.
