For Golden State Warriors supporters, seeing Draymond Green and his daughter Kyla walk hand-in-hand following their convincing 115-91 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday was a heartwarming sight.
Kyla was seen sporting a denim jacket with Green’s name and jersey number 23 on the back, and the two were interacting after the forward expressed his happiness with the win on the way to the locker room.

Green ended his evening with 11 points, 9 rebounds, and as many assists. The star of the game though was Jordan Poole who erupted for 22 points in the third quarter and finished with 34 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Post the win, Green walking with Kyla who adorably jumped and hopped her way while holding her father’s hand was icing on the cake for the Golden State faithful.
Draymond Green Explains The Logic Behind Leaving Russell Westbrook Open
One of the game plans that worked for the Warriors was their strategy to leave Russell Westbrook open and unguarded, challenging him to make his shots. This was considering the LA Clippers’ guard’s poor 3-point shooting.
Speaking to the media in the aftermath of the win, Green explained why he dared Westbrook to make his shots, and how the ploy worked as the latter went 0-for-5 from beyond the arc. Per NBC Sports Bay Area:
“Coach texted me yesterday,” Green said. “And he hinted that would be that gameplan. And then we went through it this morning in shootaround and try and get everybody to grasp the concept — it’s very easy when a guy is sagging off like that, when a guy catches it, you just rotate to him and we didn’t want to do that.”
The win gives Golden State a massive boost, especially in Stephen Curry’s absence. The sharpshooter is expected to suit up against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. For now, the Warriors will look to make an upward climb after the win against the Clippers puts them fifth in the West with a 33-30 record.
