Time may have passed for Jelena but love remains the same. Fans noticed that a photo of the pair from their recent trip to Jamaica for the wedding of Justin Bieber’s dad was a recreation of the photographed kiss they shared years ago at another beach wedding in 2011. Six plus years, EXACTLY THE SAME PEOPLE. The only mark of the passage of time—and all the Jelena on-off relationship drama that happened—are Bieber’s many additional tattoos:

Then, it was December 8th in Mexico. Gomez was a bridesmaid who brought a 17-year-old Bieber as her date. They “kissed on the beach at sunset,” the photo agency noted.
Now, it’s February 19, 2018 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Bieber, now 23, brought 25-year-old Gomez as his date, and they apparently embraced “while away from other guests,” the agency wrote.
Jamaica, and that embrace, are 2,745 miles behind Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, who were photographed back in Los Angeles yesterday. But the PDA they shared remains the subject of intense focus. There are the wedding shots of the Biebs and Gomez at the ceremony together; the photos of them making out poolside, Bieber shirtless. So many pictures to pour through.
Jelena is back to business stateside now and had their typical Wednesday night date. Photographers caught the Biebs and Gomez arriving at church together. Unlike previous weeks, where they tried really, really hard to be sneaky about it, they arrived together in Bieber’s car.
A churchgoer additionally filmed them sitting next to each other during service and seemingly being a bit PDAy (it’s not without precedent):
The two weren’t spotted at the ice rink before or after, where Bieber usually plays hockey and Gomez watches on Wednesdays, but jet lag and travel fatigue could be one reason they skipped that ritual.
Gomez was last photographed out shopping sans the Biebs. Romantic, kiss-filled vacations have to end some time, even in Hollywood.
