The actress, 32, and her partner, 38, share a son named Cy who was born early last year, and stepped out for a low-key night at Baltaire restaurant in Los Angeles.

She opted for a stylish white dress with a warm chunky knit black jumper layered over the top.

Jennifer teamed her outfit with a pair of knee-high suede boots and opted for a long line wool coat to keep out the chill.

Her long blonde hair was styled in tousled waves and she carried a black studded handbag to complete her look.

Art gallery director Cooke, looked smart in a black jumper with a white shirt and black chino trousers.

He dressed his outfit down with a pair of Vans trainers as he followed closely behind his wife.

Although the couple have not made their child’s exact date of birth public, Cy was widely reported to have been born last February.

Jennifer spoke touchingly about motherhood in a Vogue interview last year, reflecting on how her outlook had changed since Cy was born.

‘The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, Now is day one of my life,’ she gushed.

‘I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing.’

Jennifer added: ‘They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors. Now I love all babies. Now I hear a baby crying in a restaurant and I’m like, Awwww, preciousssss.’

The Don’t Look Up actress reflected: ‘My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about. I include my husband in that. And then they’re both just, like, out there — walking around, crossing streets.’

The actress also revealed that she and Cooke decided on the name Cy after the postwar American painter Cy Twombly, who is one of her gallerist husband’s favourite artists.

Jennifer spoke about her pregnancy for the first time during the candid cover story, explaining how throughout the pregnancy she found herself considering the changing landscape of women’s rights and admitted that the recent US Supreme Court overruling of Roe Vs Wade resurfaced painful memories for her.

Jennifer said that she had her first miscarriage in her early 20s and had ‘one hundred percent’ intending to get an abortion before ‘I had a miscarriage alone in Montreal.’

She had another loss a couple of years ago while shooting Don’t Look Up in late 2020/early 2021.
