Selena Gomez is continuing her real estate run. This time, the actress and singer is selling her Studio City, Calif., bungalow for $2.79 million, Variety reports.
According to property records, the home was purchased just a year ago for $2,249,000. Has Gomez become interested in the house flipping game? If she sells for asking price, she will pocket a quick profit.
The charming cottage has a lot to offer. So let’s “Kiss and Tell” all about it.
The four-bed, 3.5-bath abode measures in at a petite 3,188 square feet. Built in 1951, the bungalow features herringbone-patterned brick floors, private hedges and white wood. Inside, the home opens to a formal living and dining space, wide-plank oak floors and updated lighting. An open kitchen, media space, library with fireplace and casual dining room allow a natural flow for entertaining guests.
The open space continues outdoors with a trellised patio, kitchen and dining area, grassy lawn and stone-rimmed pool and spa, which lead to a redone guesthouse and a bath.
The master suite includes two walk-in closets and a marble bath. The property is advertised as a “private, secured, serene sanctuary”— qualities a pop star would certainly appreciate.
Along with her acting, singing and producing careers, Gomez has been dealing real estate on the side. As Realtor.com reported earlier this year, the Texas native bought a 10,000-square-foot mansion in Fort Worth in 2015, and then put it on the market in 2016 for $3.5 million. Failing to find a buyer, she pulled it. But it’s available again, this time priced at $3 million.
According to Variety, the 16-time Teen Choice award winner sold a home in the celebrity enclave of Calabasas, Calif., for $3.3 million in 2016. She had purchased this home in 2014 for a slightly higher $3.69 million.
Perhaps the social media phenom should try advertising her home sale on Instagram — she apparently has one of the largest followings in the world, with 138 million. She’s also sold over 7 million albums and 22 million singles worldwide.
The former Disney star of “Wizards of Waverly Place” has appeared in movies such as “Spring Breakers,” and is the voice of Mavis in the “Hotel Transylvania” film franchise. She’s also made headlines for her on-again, off-again relationship with tabloid favorite Justin Bieber.
