Recently finishing his filming commitments for the upcoming season of TUF, Conor McGregor, the former UFC double champion, has been keeping busy with various media appearances as he gears up for a potential fight against Michael Chandler later this year.
Coming off two losses against Dustin Poirier, and a lengthy layoff due to the injury suffered at UFC 264, the Irishman will be hoping to make a statement against ‘Iron’ and prove that he’s still among the top contenders in the promotion.
While the possible bout against Chandler might end up achieving big PPV numbers, there’s no denying that it wouldn’t come close to the numbers that the Irishman’s boxing debut pulled back in 2017. Squaring up against Floyd Mayweather, ‘The Notorious’ made the biggest paycheck of his career, which was reported to be around a hundred million dollars.
Now, while making an appearance on the show ‘Hannity’ on Fox News, the 34-year-old made a serious allegation against the undefeated boxer. Interestingly, all these came after McGregor dropped the F-bomb on live television shocking viewers.

But the Irishman made sure to get things right by making a massive donation of a million dollars to the ‘Tunnel to Towers Foundation’ during the show itself.
Conor McGregor slams Floyd Mayweather for not keeping his side of the deal
While talking about McGregor‘s next fight, host Sean Hannity brought up his bout against ‘Money’ and wondered if the American would ever step into the cage to face the Irishman. To everyone’s surprise, McGregor made a scintillating disclosure regarding the bout agreements that they had prior to the fight.
“That was the original [agreement]. It was a verbal agreement. I box him, he fights me.” claimed the UFC star, pointing out that the undefeated boxer had verbally agreed to participate in an MMA fight after the boxing match.
Further claiming that he bailed out of the deal, the ‘Mystic Mac’ kept his options open for a possible boxing bout again in the future with ‘Money’
“He didn’t honor it yet. Who knows?” stated the 34-year-old.
McGregor takes a hilarious jibe at a potential boxing match with Mayweather
Not completely counting out a possible boxing match in the future, McGregor said he wouldn’t mind squaring up against the American yet again.
“I would go against him in another boxing bout,” he said.
In what could be a record-breaking PPV, the Irishman’s joke had the crowd laughing as he talked about possibly bending the rules in a bid to hurt Mayweather if they faced again.
“I could always just say it’s going to be a boxing fight and then just bend the rules a little when we’re in there,” he exclaimed.
