Oscar winner Anne Hathaway is relatively tight-lipped when it comes to her family.
However, The Devil Wears Prada star, 38, gave a rare insight into motherhood for Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph’s Stellar magazine this weekend.
Anne, who shares sons Jonathan, four, and Jack, one, with husband Adam Shulman, joked about the ‘f**king laundry’ being the biggest challenge amid lockdown.

When asked by the publication what has been the biggest challenge as a mother, the Hollywood A-lister said: ‘During the lockdown? Can I curse? The f**king laundry!’
However, Anne went on to reveal how motherhood has provided her with ‘tonnes of opportunities’.
‘I’m always hesitant to frame things in the realm of challenges because I think it sets a tone. As a mum, I’ve found tonnes of opportunities,’ she said.
Candid: When asked by the publication what has been the biggest challenge as a mother, the Hollywood A-lister, 38 (pictured in May, 2019), said: ‘During the lockdown? Can I curse? The f**king laundry!’
‘There’s obviously a learning curve – you just have to be kind to yourself with that because you do feel like you’re doing everything wrong, especially in the early days. But it’s more than just a challenge.’
Anne also revealed what the coronavirus pandemic has taught her, saying that ‘the way we live and love is what we’ll be remembered by’.
The Hustle actress wed American producer Adam Shulman, 39, in 2012, welcoming sons Jonathan in 2016 and Jack in 2019.

Anne told UK’s Metro in May 2017 how motherhood has changed her.
‘I’m happy when things are simple. Since having a kid, I find it a lot easier to do that.’
The New York-born star continued: ‘The day begins with a checklist: Is he (Jonathan) breathing? Is he healthy? Is he growing? Is he thriving? If I get four yeses it’s really hard to upset my day.
‘I just wasn’t feeling satisfied by the other stuff. It was too stressful and kept me at a distance from things that I loved…I think I was searching like everybody for greater peace.’
