Salah seems to have come along way fitness-wise since joining the Reds from Serie A side Roma in the summer of 2017.

The Egypt international has never been out of shape by any stretch, but he appeared a lot slimmer back when he was playing for Roma between 2015-17.

He then joined the Reds in 2017 and has taken his game to a whole new level helping Jurgen Klopp’s side become one of the world’s best teams and guiding them to numerous trophies in that spell, including a Champions League.

His training regime and bulking up has no doubt helped the star forward excel since arriving at Anfield, becoming one of the best players in the world over the last few years.

Salah said: ‘Two rooms in our house are dedicated to different fitness machines, bodybuilding.

‘At home I can also do cryotherapy, there is a hyperbaric chamber. I am constantly looking to improve my physical condition.

‘It’s true that I like to say that my house looks like a hospital, [but] my wife doesn’t like that! [She] says that I spend more time with my machines than with her!’

The forward also maintains an incredibly disciplined diet - he only eats pizza 'once a month'

Aside from his exercise and recovery regimen, the Liverpool star also maintains an incredibly disciplined diet.

He said: ‘I prefer broccoli, sweet potatoes, fish, chicken and always salad.

‘When I indulge in a great restaurant in London, I prefer sushi.

‘I eat pizza once a month at the most. I love hamburgers, but I hardly ever eat them because afterwards I feel heavy!’
