The main character in the series, pregnant woman Sarita Hayes, chose to give birth at home with professional support from the medical team and emotional support from her husband and son.
Hailey McNeal, a female photographer in Midwest City, Oklahoma, USA, is the one who made a series of photos of twin mothers at home that are causing a storm. The new set of photos was posted on the photographer’s Facebook page and has received hundreds of thousands of likes, shares, and comments.
The main character in the series, pregnant woman Sarita Hayes, chose to give birth at home with professional support from the medical team and emotional support from her husband and son. The two babies were born healthy and safe, and they had immediate skin-to-skin contact with their mother. Even then, their father also “volunteered” skin-to-skin.
Unlike other birth photos, which show only the mother’s ᴘᴀɪɴ every time a contraction occurs, this collection of natural birth photos conveys a sense of happiness and peace. Of course, there are times during labor when this mother of twins is in ᴘᴀɪɴ but also happy. That ᴘᴀɪɴ is psychologically prepared by the mother in advance and welcomed with joy because ᴘᴀɪɴ can bring her child to this new world.
Not only does the main character of the series make viewers emotional, but the actions, thoughtfulness, and love of relatives, husband, and son of this twin mother make the birth journey more special than ever.
On her personal Facebook page, the female photographer who took these emotional photos wrote:
“I am afraid that no words can convey the true message like the photos below. I’m really trying to find the right words to describe the most beautiful moments as I watched Sarita go into labor and give birth to beautiful twins. She is calm, her husband is attentive, and her son, Emerson, loves her very much.
She is, above all, a strong mother. During labor, her professional support team stood by her side. And then the first baby, Amos, was born on January 6. Hours later, baby Noah was born on January 7. As a photographer, I feel so lucky and proud to be there, witness that sacred moment, and experience those unique emotions with their extended family.”
