The ‘Deadpool’ actor was spotted supporting the Wrexham soccer team.
Ryan Reynolds gave fans a glimpse into his weekend at the Racecourse Ground!
The Deadpool actor, 46, cheered on the Wrexham and Wrexham Women’s soccer teams—which he co-owns alongside actor Rob McElhenney—this weekend, sharing all of the special moments with his Instagram followers.
The first photo that Reynolds shared captured him on the field—fully focused on the game—as he rocked a Wrexham windbreaker and a pair of jeans with glasses.
Other photos in the carousel captured Reynolds with the Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor, 45, cheering on the teams throughout the weekend.
“Two unbelievable days of Wrexham football. Nearly 20,000 people passed through the gates of the Racecourse Ground,” Reynolds wrote in the caption.
“@wrexham_afc won — but the main event was @wrexhamafcwomen winning it all and hoisting the big shiny trophy. These women played their guts out and @robmcelhenney and I couldn’t be prouder or more choked up,” he said.
Reynolds also shared a few photos with several soccer players after their winning victory against York City, along with an adorable snap with with Blake Lively as they posed for a selfie while standing on the field.
However, he left out a shot with his newborn, though he was spotted holding the little one and posing for a photo on the field.
According to BBC, Reynolds and McElhenney have been frequent visitors to the field this season to watch their teams play, but Lively’s appearance was rare and special, as was the newborn babies appearance.
Reynolds and Lively have kept their newborn’s gender a secret, and just last month the actor confirmed he wasn’t interested in spilling the beans during an interview on CNBC’s Power Lunch.
“I ain’t tellin’. This ain’t a birth announcement. We didn’t make a birth announcement. We just posted a photo and the media just did what it does,” he said, referring to Lively’s subtle Instagram post revealing that they had welcomed another child.
The couple are also parents to three daughters—James, 8, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3.
