But on Wednesday, Chris Hemsworth, 35, and his wife Elsa Pataky, 42, were closer to high-flying Hollywood stars than hippies as they embarked on a helicopter ride.
The actors boarded a yellow chopper in Perth, Western Australia, for a trip to Rottnest Island, which lies just off the coast, with their children in tow.

The pair dressed casually for the flight, both wearing khaki tones and prepared for warm weather.
Chris, clad in a dark green, sleeveless shirt, carried a surf board, clearly intending to catch some waves on the trip.
He completed the look with a pair of long, black shorts, a black cap and a pair of Adidas sneakers.
