He’s known to Marvel fans as the muscle-bound superhero Thor.
But at home in the Australian coastal town of Byron Bay, Chris Hemsworth is just another local.
The Hollywood star, 34, was spotted enjoying a quick family lunch on Monday with his wife Elsa Pataky and their children.

Chris married Elsa, 41, in 2010 and they share three children: daughter India, six, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, four.
Life as a busy father clearly helps Chris stay in shape, as he maintains his muscular frame all year round.
Even when he doesn’t have a blockbuster film on the agenda, he always looks in peak physical condition while surfing in Byron.

Meanwhile, the Avengers star has been making waves of a different kind recently amid the construction of his massive new home.
As his property transforms into a huge Hollywood-style mansion, locals have expressed fear the development sets an ‘inappropriate’ tone for the surf town.
Construction is still rumbling on for the $8.7million coastal abode in the hills above Seven Mile Beach at Broken Head, but residents claim it’s spoiling the local charm.
‘It seems excessive but there’s not much we can do about it – nothing surprises me in this town these days,’ Darren Birch told the Herald Sun last week.
Chris and Elsa, who were previously based in Los Angeles, now enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle on Australia’s east coast.
Elsa has been rather busy with her own acting career of late, too, filming 10-part Netflix show Tidelands in Queensland.
Tidelands is the first Australian-made Netflix Original Series and will be released globally across the streaming platform.
