Shocking footage shows a toddler who can barely walk or talk fearlessly handling a nest of snakes with ease.
The clip of the boy is believed to have been filmed by his father in China, where his family seems to be running a snake breeding farm.
After picking out serpents – which appear to be his favourite play thing – the child then hands them to the cameraman, who laughs and places them in a bag.
The toddler, reportedly from China, grabs a snake, picks it up and shows his parents
As his father films, the boy lifts up wooden boards on the floor and a carpet and reveals the huge pile of snakes all curled up together.
The child then grabs a snake, picking it up and showing his parents while repeatedly uttering baby words.
He then goes and collects more and hands them to his father who places them in a bag.
At one point in the video, the boy’s mother decides play time with the reptiles is over and makes him leave the room, but he begins to cry and demands to be allowed to continue.
It is unclear what species of snakes are in the footage, but his parents, who along with the child were not named in reports, do not appear overly concerned that their son may be bitten.
