Neymar joins David Beckham at Paris Fashion week as world’s costliest player follows up four-goal destruction of Dijon with equally stylish show off the field

Brazilian superstar led 8-0 Ligue 1 romp before heading for the front row as the Louis Vuitton winter collection was unveiled

NEYMAR gave Dijon a dressing-down – then got dressed up with David Beckham for the Paris Fashion Show.

The world’s costliest player looked as sharp off the field on it as he met football’s most stylish man.

The duo donned similar shades of brown for the front row as Louis Vuitton’s new winter collection was unveiled.

Brazilian Neymar, a £198million summer buy from Barcelona, bagged four goals as PSG overwhelmed mid-table Dijon 8-0 to move 11 points clear.

But the 25-year-old might have been glad to escape from football headlines for a few hours after controversy over his late penalty.

Strike-partner Edinson Cavani had drawn level with all-time PSG great Zlatan Ibrahimovic on 156 PSG goals when he put the home side 3-0 up midway through the first  half.

And spot-kick chance, at 7-0, was surely the most relaxed opportunity possible to take Cavani to a new club record.

Instead, though, designated spot-kick taker Neymar ignored jeers from the crowd by deciding to take the penalty himself, to complete the night’s scoring.

Cavani himself stayed calm afterwards, tweeting to hail both victory and PSG’s spirit.

But Neymar’s actions were widely seen as selfish, even adding to murmurings of discontent and speculation of a move to Real Madrid.

He looked relaxed, however, in a headband, silver chain and shiny brown jacket as he mingled with football’s fellow fashion-lovers, most notably ex-England skipper Becks.

His tastes in clothes might be a bit too cool, clinical and on-trend for many.

But he had already scored a rare 10 out of 10 on the pitch.

His four goals and two assists against Dijon made him only the second Ligue 1 player ever to earn that perfect mark from France’s respected sports newspaper L’Equipe.

Fellow Brazilian, midfielder Carlos Eduardo, was given a 10 after netting five in Nice’s 7-2 rout over Guingamp in October 2014.
