He’s the Hollywood heavyweight known for his superhero status in the Thor franchise.
But Chris Hemsworth proved he’s just like the rest of us, dining among the locals at a low-key restaurant in Queensland on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old cut a relaxed figure in a simple black sweater as he went without an entourage at Koi Dining and Lounge Bar in Queensland’s Broadbeach.

Dressing down for the occasion in a black zip-up hooded jacket, Chris was seen laughing while engaged in conversation as he dined with a large group of pals.
Surrounded by sparkling water bottles, the Hollywood hunk most likely dined on fresh grilled produce.
Notably absent was his actress wife Elsa Pataky and their growing brood, two-year-old twin sons Tristan and Sasha, and four-year-old daughter India Rose.

Chris has relocated from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, with production of the third installment of Hollywood blockbuster Thor to resume filming shortly.
While on the Brisbane set, the former Home And Away star made sure to give back to his dedicated fans.
He delighted waiting crowds with a mass photo shoot, and took his time to make sure everyone got a snap with the star.

The actor appeared to have mastered the art of the selfie as he held fans’ phones, while security were on hand to control the excited crowds.
It isn’t the only sweet gesture Chris made during his short visit to Brisbane.
He not only hand-delivered pizza to waiting fans who had spent hours hoping to catch a glimpse of the star, but also took time out to make a surprise visit to a children’s hospital.
He happily posed for photos and joked with the kids, and later called them the ‘real superheroes of the world’ after being inspired by his visit.
