A group of Parisian fans gathered outside the team’s training ground to protest against the Argentinian star
Leo Messi’s sanction following his escape to Saudi Arabia without the club’s permission has sent shockwaves through the PSG camp. This morning, the Parisian club’s supporters’ association issued a statement calling on fans to gather around the club’s premises to protest against the Argentinian star.
Hundreds of fans showed up with megaphones, flares and banners calling for the player’s departure. They even insulted him in perfect Spanish.
The main target of the demonstration was the club’s board of directors, who they accused of making decisions that “have nothing to do with football”. In fact, due to the suspension, Leo Messi has not been present at today’s training sessions.
The mobilisation began at 6pm under the slogan “Paris is for us, forever and for a long time” and the protest is expected to continue for several hours.
PSG ultras go to Neymar’s home too
The PSG ultras also took their anger out on Neymar, with some going to his house to call for the Brazilian to leave the club as well.

It’s clear that the Parisian fans are upset with both Messi and Neymar, two members of the club’s star attacking trident.
While it seems that Messi will be on the move this summer, Neymar‘s future remains more unclear.
