Lamborghini updates its only crossover for the second time in a month. The Urus S 2023 has been officially unveiled.

Italian car company Lamborghini today officially unveiled a new version of its so far only Urus S crossover in its range.

This version is the first special version since the Performante restyling of the model was unveiled in August of this year.

Under the hood of the car is the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 as the Performante, but this model doesn’t have the necessary weight loss.

Therefore, the engine with 666 hp and 850 N*m of torque will accelerate this crossover a bit slower.

According to official statements Urus Performante is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, while the Urus S reaches this figure in 3.5 seconds.

At the same time, the top speed remains the same at 305 km/h.

The Lamborghini Urus S, like its «fellow» Performante, will compete with high-performance crossovers like the Ferrari Purosangue, Aston Martin DBX and Bentley Bentayga Speed.

Since the August restyling, Lamborghini has made its crossover more customizable in terms of personalization.

The new Urus is offered with 22-inch alloy wheels as standard, but 23-inch diamond-bronze-cut wheels are available as an option.

Among other options, potential buyers can choose from a carbon fiber roof, different variants of exhaust system spigots, etc.

Along with this, the standard equipment of the crossover includes reinforced engine crankcase protection finished in matte black as well as carbon fiber air intakes in the bumper.

The interior of the crossover has brand new two-tone leather upholstery of the seats.

Whether this car will appear in a hybrid version is unknown.

Though it is necessary to remind that the press-service of the Italian company earlier promised to electrify all its cars by 2024.

If the Urus gets a hybrid, it will probably be the unit from the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.
