Kim Kardashian generously paid off the legal fees of more than 50 moms across the United States in honor of Mother’s Day.
In a post shared Monday, the aspiring lawyer, 42, explained that she partnered with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin to perform the charitable deed in the hopes of giving mothers on probation and parole a fresh start.
The businessman is involved with the REFORM Alliance — as a co-chair on the organization’s board — which aims to ‘transform probation and parole’ in the U.S.
Kardashian, Rubin and REFORM Alliance’s Jessica Jackson hopped on a video call with several of the recipients, who expressed their gratitude for the financial relief.
‘Thousands of mothers are stuck on probation or parole just because they can’t afford to pay off their restitution, fines, and fees,’ Kardashian captioned.

This is a major roadblock for those hoping to moving forward as it can effect progress and limit the opportunities they can provide their children.
She continued: ‘While on probation they are at constant risk of being returned to prison or jail- not for committing a new crime but for technical violations like missing a meeting with their probation officer.
‘In celebration of Mother’s Day, I’ve partnered with @MichaelRubin to pay off the remaining restitution of more than 50 mothers across the country to give these women the second chance they’ve earned.’
As well as having the backing of their parole officers, it was confirmed that the women have been actively focused on rehabilitation and success.
Kardashian went on to thank recipients ‘Danielle, Drew, and Tarlexus ‘for sharing [their] stories’ with her 355million Instagram followers.
She then urged her fans to do their part to ‘fix this broken system’ by checking out REFORM Alliance.
‘But [we] need your support to join the movement visit @REFORM and thank you @jessicajackson,’ she concluded.
Kardashian further expressed frustration over the fact that the ‘system keeps them stuck in an endless cycle of supervision’ despite wanting nothing more than the ‘chance to rebuild their lives.’
‘It’s hard to fathom what these mothers have to go through,’ she said in a press release.
She urged lawmakers to ‘work toward changing outdated laws that keep too many people unnecessarily behind bars.
‘I will continue to bring awareness to these important issues until there is change.’
Drew told Kardashian and Rubin that having her legal fees taken care of is ‘life changing’ and that she plans to ‘do so much with this newfound freedom.’
Tarlexus said that it will ‘take a lot of stress off me financially, mentally.’
Kardashian — who received endless thanks from the mothers — said she hopes ‘this little bit can just continue to motivate you and push you to exactly where you’re supposed to be.’
The REFORM Alliance was launched in 2019 and consists of a ‘world-class group of philanthropists and activists.’
The organization was motivated by the controversial re-incarceration of rapper Meek Mill in 2017.
The hitmaker was convicted of violating his 10-year probation — a punishment he received in 2008 along with one to two years in prison for gun and drug charges — for allegedly having drugs in his system and violating travel restrictions.

Despite a prosecutor and his parole officer vouching for him, a judge went ahead and dished out a two to four year prison sentence.
Months into his incarceration, Mill was lucky enough to have his conviction overturned after an investigation unearthed alleged credibility issues regarding the officer who arrested him.
Mill was also able to resolve his prior gun charge just one month later by deciding to plead guilty to a misdemeanor.
The REFORM Alliance recognized that if Mill – who has an estimated net worth of $20million – can be wronged by the system, then those who are less privileged are at an even greater risk.
The organization is actively committed to ‘changing laws, systems and culture’ in the hopes of creating ‘real pathways to work and wellbeing.’
They have a number of high-profile figures backing their mission, including music mogul Jay-Z.
Kardashian aligns with the REFORM Alliance’s agenda as she has dedicated herself to prison reform as well as overturning wrongful convictions while pursuing her law degree.
Her advocacy helped overturn convict-turned-activist Alice Marie Johnson’s life sentence for a non-violent crime she committed back in 1996.
Johnson was pardoned by former President Donald Trump in 2020 after he commuted her sentence in 2018.
Kardashian — who failed the baby bar three times before passing in 2021 — revealed on TODAY that she passed her law school midterms with flying colors.
She impressively received straight A’s on two of her exams, which she said has given her ‘that boost of confidence again just to push through.’
Right now, Kardashian is in the midst of studying constitutional law, which she admitted hasn’t been the easiest for her.

‘I’m still studying. I’m actually in constitutional law 1 and 2 right now. It’s my toughest; not the biggest fan of it, I’ve been sharing my struggle,’ the mother-of-four explained.
‘But with that said, I took a midterm yesterday. I got 100 percent and then I got a 95 percent on my other midterm,’ she revealed proudly.
The midterms are the lead up to the bar exam which, if she passes, will make her a licensed attorney.
Kardashian said she hopes to take the exam ‘next year’ so she can finally be ‘done’ after years of hard work.
She began a four-year law apprenticeship in 2019 and has often shared herself studying via her Instagram Story.
