Chris Hemsworth has been seen saving the world for years on the silver screen as Thor.
But in real life he and wife Elsa Pataky have more modest goals – to simply save the oceans.
Elsa, 38, shared a shot of the pair on a sea voyage to Instagram, writing that the pair had a ‘great day supporting the amazing efforts and research of Oceana in conserving the oceans.’
Save the oceans: Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky spent time over the weekend supporting the Oceana environmental group, taking to Instagram on Sunday to promote the good cause
Oceana’s mission statement is ‘protecting the world’s oceans,’ and since it’s 2001 inception, according to it’s website, has ‘protected more than one million square miles of ocean.’
Chris, 31, was seen with his arm wrapped around his beautiful wife, who was admiring the picturesque marine view with the help of a pair of binoculars.
The duo were both adorned in navy Oceana T-shirts, though Spanish model and actress Elsa also rugged up with a thick jacket.
They’re not the only celebs to have taken to social media in support of the organisation, with How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie Smulders and Entourage’s Adrian Genier both doing so in recent weeks.
Elsa was seen on Thursday at a Schweppes event in Madrid, Spain, flaunting her stunning body in an all black outfit.
The mother-of-three looked in fine form, wearing a tight corset that accentuated her bust – but keeping the look classy with a chic blazer, fitted cigarette pants and pointed nude heels.
She and Chris have three children together – one-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan, and daughter India, three, who was recently seen visiting her doting dad on the set of The Hunstman.
