It looks like the 2022-23 season is going to end in disappointment for the Los Angeles Lakers.
They fell down 0-3 against the Denver Nuggets after a crushing 119-108 loss in Game 3 and San Antonio Spurs rookie Jeremy Sochan appeared to mock LeBron James after it.
Sochan had, of course, called out LeBron for flopping during Game 2 which led to him getting some hate from Lakers fans. It is never a good idea to poke the bear as Dillon Brooks found out and Sochan can expect James to go after him when they face off next season. For now, though, he is going to have some fun at LeBron’s expense, and for those who might be unaware, this is just who Sochan is. He is an instigator and if the Spurs become good again thanks to Victor Wembanyama, he is going to be one of those players that opposition fans just hate a lot.
LeBron James’ Message For His Team After Falling Down 0-3
The Lakers will now have to find a way to overturn this 0-3 deficit, something that has never been done before in NBA history. LeBron’s message to his team after this latest setback is they just have to get one game and take it one at a time. It is the only way for them to tackle this situation but you certainly do not like their chances of completing the turnaround, even though LeBron has accomplished near-impossible feats numerous times in his storied career.
As for James’ play in this game, he had 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 12 assists. He finally hit some threes, going 3-9 from beyond the arc, but it wasn’t enough to prevent yet another loss. Their head coach Darvin Ham isn’t giving up just yet and LeBron certainly won’t as well, but their season looks set to end in the Conference Finals.
