A 47-year-old woman who branded herself the ‘Catfish Queen’ has left TikTok users in awe after she revealed how she makes herself look ‘decades younger’ simply by using makeup.
Patricia Lichtenberger, who is originally from Texas but now lives in Kansas, has racked up more than 120,000 followers on the platform and one million likes across her videos for sharing clips of herself before and after she put on makeup.
The mom-of-one is able to dramatically change her appearance using products like concealer, foundation, mascara, eyeshadow, and lipstick – and many people on the internet cannot believe that it is the same person throughout her videos.
Although Patricia – who works as a bench jeweler – sometimes receives negative comments about her jaw-dropping transformation, the influencer is proud of the way she can enhance her looks.

‘There is no such thing as perfect, let’s be real, we all have skin texture,’ she told Jam Press recently, while discussing the backlash she has received.
‘And this is so surreal that we’d all think we are made of robots or something because we are not.
‘Makeup is not illegal, we enhance our beauty and we all are artistic so why take the fun out of that?
‘I can go from a simple makeup look to dramatic sometimes, so the comments from my supporters have my back, they still do till this day. I love all of them, even the one’s who hate.’
Patricia started her TikTok account in 2016 in an attempt to showcase her funny side, and she went viral last year after she posted a video showing off her natural beauty versus how she looks when she has a full face of glam.
At the time, she knew what the term ‘catfishing’ meant – which is the act of tricking someone online regarding the way you look – but insisted it wasn’t her ‘mission.’
She soon began to receive many nasty comments from online users – who called her ‘ugly’ and accused her of being deceitful – and she admitted she almost fell into a ‘depression,’ until she decided to embrace the ‘catfish’ title.

‘People called me ugly or would say, “What’s wrong with your face?” They then called me a “catfish” and I knew what that was, but that wasn’t my mission,’ she explained.
‘I wanted to share my before and after videos because for so long, those words cut so much.’
Now, she is unbothered by the haters and often posts videos highlighting her ability to look younger.
‘Words stopped hurting me and my TikTok fans back me up because they know what I’ve been through,’ she said.
‘I love catfishing,’ she also told the New York Post. ‘I can transform myself from a Mexican-Hispanic to a white woman if I want to. I love shocking people.’
Patricia explained that she buys her makeup at Walmart for $50 to $100 monthly. Her favorite product is the One/Size Butter Silk Concealer by Patrick Starrr, which costs $25.
‘It’s the best when I post my videos and people see me without makeup, then they see me with it and think I’m a completely different person,’ she added to the Post. ‘They think I’m my daughter.’
Patricia said her daughter Pamela, 22, also encourages her to keep posting.
She gushed: ‘My daughter always encourages. She says, “Mom, you’re such a beautiful person and I’m so proud to have you as a mother.” That’s what keeps me going.’
