Grammy winner Dua Lipa teased her lead single from Barbie: The Album called Dance The Night on Monday.
The 27-year-old pop star – who boasts 146.3M social media followers – revealed the song would be released this Friday at midnight: ‘This Barbie has a song coming this week!’
In the preview for the track, Dua recreated the moment at the beginning of the Barbie trailer where producer-star Margot Robbie stepped out of her pink marabou heels to reveal her feet were still en pointe like the plastic Mattel doll.
Lipa then blew a kiss to the camera as a snippet of her disco-pop song played in the background.
The British-Albanian belter will also make her acting debut as Mermaid Barbie in the Warner Bros. Pictures movie, which hits US/UK theaters July 21.

Dua’s announcement came four days after Alice Glass teased her goth-infused cover of Aqua’s 1997 hit parody song Barbie Girl, which will also be featured on Barbie: The Album.
Fans were outraged to hear The Beach Boys’ 1964 track Fun Fun Fun in the trailer rather than the catchy Danish pop song, but Aqua frontman Lene Nystrøm already told Variety on April 29: ‘The song will not be used in the movie.’
Barbie: The Album is also rumored to be featuring songs from Taylor Swift, Ava Max, Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea, and Charli XCX.

Will Ferrell, John Cena, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, Alexandra Shipp, Kate McKinnon, Hari Nef, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, America Ferrera, and Emerald Fennell are also featured in the Mattel fantasy flick.
Lipa will also play a mystery role in Matthew Vaughn’s amnesia spy film Argylle, which premieres later this year on Apple TV+.
The movie – based on Ellie Conway’s upcoming novel – will also star Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson, and Ariana DeBose.
