A video on the internet shows an elephant calf who had been separated from its family roaring with joy when it was reunited with them after following a rescue team. After getting ʟᴏsᴛ in southern Iɴᴅɪᴀ’s Mudumalai National Park, a rescue team from the forest department in Tamil Nadu guided the calf back to its family.
The newborn elephant, which was considered to be only a few months old, was led to safety down a lush green route by four park officials.
One of the team’s rescuers, who was wearing khaki camouflage, can be seen being ᴄʟᴏsᴇly followed by the elephant while another member of the group cheered the calf on from behind.
The calf moved down a constrained earth track before exiting into an open path.The calf paused, looked up, and then let out a guttural shout of joy when it saw its family again. The elephant then did a joyful run in the direction of its mother, who was said to be waiting behind the camera. The baby was very happy as it could be reunited with its family.
An elephant baby is typically born at roughly 250 pounds and 3 feet tall.They are particularly clumsy for the first three months after birth and regularly trip over their trunks due to their lack of control. Calves often consume three full gallons of milk each day, a routine they occasionally maintain for as long as ten years.
