A three-year-old girl glows with pride in this sweet moment as she meets her Nᴇᴡʙᴏʀɴꜱsister for the first time in a hospital.
Molly, an older sister from Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, holds her infant sister Cora tightly in her arms throughout the video, which has now gained more than 27,000 views on social media.
Heather Conley can be heard instructing her tᴏᴅᴅler to “be kind” as she gives the infant numerous ᴋɪꜱꜱes and pats her head gently.
Molly explains to her new sister: “You just came out of mommy’s belly.” She is aware that she must be kind with the tiny ʙᴀʙʏ. I won’t abandon you. I’ll stop letting you leave now.
In the heartwarming video, Molly hugs and tenderly pats her infant sister on the head.
After gently ᴋɪꜱꜱing the Nᴇᴡʙᴏʀɴꜱand resting her face against its cheek, the tender tᴏᴅᴅler turns her attention back to Cora.
Mother Heather, who is attentively observing from her bed, is moved to tears at the sight of the two sisters getting along. She can be heard remarking, “I just captured that on camera,” as she is overtaken with emotion.
As the video goes on, Molly is still fixated on her brand-new sister and the young child exclaims to her mother, “She’s so cute!” prior to inquiring: “Are we going to take off her hat?”
Later, Heather shared the touching video on Twitter with the caption: “Molly meeting her little sister for the first time.”
