I’ve never really understood why people get so into having a snake as a pet. It’s just not really my cup of tea.
So when I looked through Facebook and saw an image of a woman who had decided to stretch her ears to the point that she could get her pet snake through it, I’m going to admit I was a bit ‘what the fuck’ about the whole thing.
I mean, although she claims the whole thing was an accident, call me Sherlock Holmes because I’m not too sure she’s telling the truth.
And – totally hypothetically – if it did (speculating) end up being put through there on purpose, basically my main question is ‘why?’.

Why would you put the snake through your ear?!

WHYY??
The image was posted to social media by Ashley Glawe.
According to Ash, last week she was hanging out with her pet snake, Bart, when it made a dart for her ear lobes. Somehow he was so quick and at the right angle that he managed to become wedged in there.
I’m just putting it out there that it all seems a little bit too much of a coincidence…

Why, Ashley, why???
The doctors were able to remove Bart after they made a small incision in Ashley’s ear and wiggled him out using some Vaseline.
I wouldn’t want to get a snake that near my face because…
Snakes Are Scary As Hell
A 17-foot python was filmed devouring a kangaroo just metres behind a family caravan park last month.
In the astonishing footage from Cooktown, Queensland, Australia, the massive snake can be seen swallowing the last of a helpless ‘roo.
The reptile can even be seen unhinging its jaw in different parts to fit the massive marsupial meal in its mouth.
Have a look at the footage here…
“Just found this snake at the back of the caravan,” Helen Smart, who filmed the video, can be heard saying. “And I’m whispering because you can see it’s eating a kangaroo. Oh my god, it’s so big, it’s humongous… poor little kangaroo.”
With only the hooves and tail left to be eaten, the python slithers its body over the carcass to finish the dish.
Helen reckoned she had never seen a snake that big in her life. “We’re used to seeing snakes around here but this was easily the biggest one, its mouth was humongous,” she said.
You can say that again Helen. I wouldn’t put this snake anywhere near my ear.
