One of the greatest basketball players ever, LeBron James is regarded by many as the most all-around athlete in NBA history.
He is capable of scoring, passing, rebounding, and defending at a high level, and it is easy to see why some people think that he is the GOAT.
Recently, Gilbert Arenas explained why he believes that LeBron James is the GOAT over Michael Jordan. He referenced James passing the scoring record and pointed out that he has more overall points than Jordan as a pass-first player.
hin your country.
When you say he’s not a better scorer than Jordan… but he’s first… If Jordan was a scorer first and LeBron is the passer first, and the passer first has more points than the scorer first… Just let it go… LeBron is not a natural scorer. That’s what makes it worse. The non-scoring mind is leading the most selfish stats… If Jordan had Kareem’s scoring record, If Jordan has John Stockton’s assist record, if Jordan had Bill Russell’s rings, I get it. But Jordan is not No. 1 in any of the categories.
There is no doubt that LeBron James has a solid GOAT case, especially since he is the all-time leading scorer and has had an overall excellent career. However, Michael Jordan is still a lot of people’s GOAT, and it looks as though the debate will not end soon.
Isiah Thomas Believes That LeBron James Is The GOAT
Gilbert Arenas is far from the only former player to support LeBron James in the GOAT debate. There is a large contingent of people who believe that LeBron James is the GOAT, and some former players are definitely on the list. Previously, Isiah Thomas called James the GOAT due to him being the best player he has ever seen.
The best and most “complete” player I have seen in my lifetime is @KingJames on and off the floor. He passed the eye test and the numbers confirm what my eyes have seen in every statistical category. #Goat let it be known!
It is clear that LeBron James has made admirers out of many players, some of whom even played in Michael Jordan’s era. It’ll be interesting to see how many more players come out in support of LeBron James as the GOAT in the future.
As of right now, LeBron James’ career is not over, and he still has a chance to add more championships to his resume in the future. The more he wins, the better for his GOAT debate case, and we’ll see what happens going forward.
