The official Instagram account of Lexi Rabe recently shared a birthday-special post for Robert Downey Jr.
By India Today Web Desk: Robert Downey Jr turned 55 on Saturday (April 4) and many celebrities showered Hollywood’s Iron Man with love on social media. While a lot of his co-stars from the Avengers family wished the fellow actor, it was little Lexi Rabe’s wish that stood out.
Rabe played Robert Downey’s on-screen daughter in Avengers: Endgame last year. The 7-year-old child actress shared a birthday-special post for her “fake daddy” Robert Downey aka Tony Stark on Instagram. And needless to say, it is oh-so-adorable.
FYI, Rabe’s Instagram account is managed by her parents. They posted a picture of their daughter with the actor saying, “Robert to know is to Love You…3000, you are indefinable, but we will try!”
The couple then used six words to describe Robert Downey Jr namely Resilient, Original, Brilliant, Entertaining, Royal and Treasure.
“…I met you when I was 5 and called you my fake daddy. But you have changed my life forever. I do and always will ~Love You 3000 Lexi*…(sic),” a part of her caption reads.
“*Resilient Original Brilliant Entertaining Royal Treasure*#happybirthday #rdj @robertdowneyjr #Iloveyou3000 @marvel #ironman @avengers #lexirabe (sic),” she added.
Gwyneth Paltrow, who played Robert Downey’s on-screen wife in Avengers: Endgame also wished him on the occasion. The actress posted a picture from her wedding which showed Robert Downey at the back, as he raised a toast in the ceremony.
She wrote, “Before we put this April 4th to bed, I must wish my dear, dear @robertdowneyjr a happy birthday. Here he is, making a toast at our wedding, during which his humor elicited my usual look of pure joy/shock whenever he is near. He is my brother, friend and supporter. A mega genius, and the weirdest comedy writer of all time. I know all of our @marvel family join me in wishing him a very happy day. Do you love Robert? Let him hear you if you do (sic).”
Earlier, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans, including many others, wished Robert Downey Jr a happy birthday on social media.
Robert Downey Jr thanked all his fans and friends for the birthday wishes on Twitter.
He posted a GIF to express himself on the platform and wrote, “Thanks to everyone who put a smile on my face today. There’s a lot of you out there…”
Robert Downey’s journey with Marvel Cinematic Universe started with Iron Man (2008) and continued for ten films till Avengers: Endgame, as his character dies in the 2019 film.
