During a visit to Kruger National Park, South Africa, Andrew Cohen captured a special moment. From the bushes, the mother buffalo slowly led her calves towards the lake. In the opposite direction was a large African forest elephant.
The elephant was quite friendly and seemed to want to greet the mother and the buffalo. The calves, however, responded with a hostile attitude. It rushed towards the wild elephant. The tiny calf rushed towards the big man without hesitation, causing the wild elephant to suddenly step back.
“At first, we were surprised by the calf’s reaction and were extremely worried that it would be trampled to death by the elephant. However, what happened next made everyone laugh. In fact, the elephant doesn’t know how to react to the aggressive calf, so it can only run around,” Andrew shared.
Finally, the elephant had to go into the bushes to escape the pursuit of the calf.
