Chris Hemsworth brings up his grudge against Hela for destroying Thor’s hammer in his response to Cate Blanchett’s new Disneyworld image.
Chris Hemsworth brings up his grudge against Cate Blanchett after Hela destroyed Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir, in Thor: Ragnarok. The God of Thunder’s first choice of weapon, Mjölnir, was destroyed by the Goddess of Death early in the movie. It effectively established her as a formidable villain, and almost six years since, Hemsworth continues to harbor ill feelings towards Blanchett and her character for wrecking Mjölnir.
On his official Twitter account, Hemsworth quote-tweeted an image of Blanchett posing with Thor and Loki during her Disneyland visit, expressing his continued displeasure about Hela’s destruction of Thor’s hammer. Check out his tweet below:
What a nice reunion.. still mad about Mjolnir though
Due to the time heist, Mjölnir returned briefly in Avengers: Endgame. Both he and Captain America were able to use it in the final fight against Thanos. After the battle, Steve Rogers returned it to its original place and time alongside the Infinity Stones so as not to create branched timelines. After Thor: Love and Thunder, the God of Thunder is back with his beloved hammer.

Can Cate Blanchett’s Hela Return To The MCU?
The first female main villain in the MCU, Hela was revealed to be Odin’s secret firstborn. In Taika Waititi’s acclaimed Thor: Ragnarok, she attempted to take over Asgard following the former king’s death. In the end, she was defeated by Thor and the so-called Revengers team. That being said, It’s not clear what happened to her after Surtur destroyed Asgard.
With no definitive fate, it’s certainly possible that Hela somehow made it out of the destruction alive. Marvel Studios isn’t new to faking deaths or even bringing certain characters back from the dead. So, if the MCU does have more stories to tell involving the Goddess of Death, there is no doubt that Kevin Feige and his team can find a way to bring her back.
Although Hela returning to the MCU is certainly possible after Thor: Ragnarok, it may not happen for a while — at least with regard to live-action projects. Blanchett is already confirmed to voice the Goddess of Death in Marvel’s What If…? season 2, but aside from that, there’s no word if she will actually reprise the villainous role in a live-action show or film. But the fact that she continues to work with Marvel Studios certainly increases the chances of Hela returning to the MCU in a more substantial way.
