Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt‘s ‘spontaneous’ on-screen kiss in comedy-drama Babylon has had everyone in Hollywood talking.
And the co-stars had plenty of chemistry as they sat next to each other in the audience at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills on Tuesday evening.
Margot, 32, looked ultra-glamorous in a sheer halterneck sequinned gown by Chanel as she watched the ceremony alongside the 59-year-old Bullet Train star.

The Australian actress wore her blonde locks out in soft waves and opted for minimal makeup.
Meanwhile, Brad looked dapper in a black tuxedo, white shirt and black bow tie.

The two-time Oscar nominee, who plays an unhinged starlet taking advantage of every debauched opportunity in 1920s-era Hollywood, told E! News last month the smooch wasn’t part of the original screenplay by director Damien Chazelle.

Instead, the Wolf of Wall Street star pitched the kiss with Brad as a chance to check off a long-standing bucket-list desire.
‘That wasn’t in the script,’ she explained, ‘but I thought, “When else am I going to get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I’m just going to go for it.”‘
When asked for her reaction to the kiss, she let out a laugh and said: ‘It was great!’

She explained how she sold Chazelle, who won the Best Director Oscar for his hit Hollywood musical La La Land, on adding in a kiss between her and Brad.
‘I said, “Damien, I think Nellie would just go up and kiss Jack,”‘ she said. ‘And Damien was like, “Well, she could – wait, hold on, you just want to kiss Brad Pitt?”
‘And I was like, “Oh, so sue me. This opportunity might never come up again.” And he was like, “It does work for the character,” and I was like, “I think so.”‘

Although Margot thought of the kiss almost as a lark, Chazelle was convinced it was the right move after the first take – so he made her repeat it.
‘He was like, “No, do it again. That really works,”‘ she said with a laugh. ‘I was like, “Oh, great!”‘
Margot also revealed Brad wasn’t the only co-star she kissed while filming Babylon.
‘I actually kissed Katherine [Waterston] as well,’ she shared, ‘but I don’t know if that made the cut.’
Following the ceremony, Margot joined a host of celebrity guests at an after party at Soho House West Hollywood, where she was joined by the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Coolidge, Dakota Fanning, Austin Butler, and Kaia Gerber.
