Erling Haaland is already making all the right moves to win over Man City fans after he was seen wearing an eye-catching £730 Louis Vuitton t-shirt in the club’s colours at a music festival in Madrid.
Haaland, who completed his £51million move to the Etihad earlier this summer, is yet to link up with his new team-mates and is continuing to enjoy some time away on holiday in Spain before pre-season.
After being spotted in Malaga and Marbella in previous weeks, Haaland has since made his way up to Madrid to unwind at boutique music festival Starlite, where he sported a ‘monogram bandana’ printed t-shirt from Louis Vuitton.

Before making his way to the concert, Haaland made a series of hilarious posts on his Instagram stories where he answered a number of fan questions in a purple bucket hat.
The 21-year-old insisted that he ‘didn’t need a haircut’ and confirmed that he doesn’t ‘have any eyebrows’ before listening to Puerto Rican star Ozuna at the festival.
And while Haaland donned the blue and white in his downtime, fans will be eager for him to pull the club’s new shirt back on when the Premier League champions head out on their pre-season tour.
Haaland is yet to kick a ball for his new club but the striker’s admirers have been given a boost after learning that his release clause will reportedly fall to £150m in 2025.
Haaland’s representatives have made it commonplace in his recent contracts that release clauses are included and his deal with Man City is said to be no different.
Now, Spanish publication Marca have detailed how the second of two release clauses – the first of £172m triggered in 2024 – drops by £12m from 2025, opening the door to any potential suitors.
Haaland arrives as one of the signings of the summer in the Premier League and while this reported secondary release clause won’t kick in through until 2025, it will still keep suitors’ eyes peeled on his situation in Manchester.
Marca report that Haaland, who was represented by the late agent Mino Raiola, has become used to having release clauses in his deals.
There was a release clause in his deal to go from Red Bull Salzburg to Dortmund and City negotiated a sub-release clause deal to get him from Germany to England.
Haaland arrives in England as one of the most sought-after strikers in world football.
He took his game to the next level at Dortmund, finishing his career there scoring 83 goals in 87 games.

‘This is a proud day for me and my family,’ Haaland said when the deal was announced.
‘I have always watched City and have loved doing so in recent seasons.
‘You can’t help but admire their style of play, it’s exciting and they create a lot of chances, which is perfect for a player like me.
‘There are so many world-class players in this squad and Pep is one of the greatest managers of all-time, so I believe I am in the right place to fulfil my ambitions.
‘I want to score goals, win trophies, and improve as a footballer and I am confident I can do that here.
‘This is a great move for me, and I can’t wait to get started in pre-season.’
