Ryan Seacrest shared that he is still happy with his hosting duties on American Idol after 21 years.
The television host, 48, sat down with the judges of Idol, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan, for an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
The group shared their wildest audition stories after six years together on the hit TV show.
Seacrest also made a few comments about his hosting duties on the show after he announced his exit from Live with Kelly and Ryan.
When asked if he’s still happy hosting the singing competition series, the producer said: ‘Yes. Yes, I am. I really like the live shows.’

He also marveled over the fact that he and the famous judges have been working together for so long.
‘We’re in our sixth season together,’ Seacrest shared. ‘This is more of a statement. How crazy is it to think we’ve been doing this for six years already, and we’re still able to put up with each other?’
He noted: ‘Everybody enjoys everybody.’
While sharing their crazy audition memories, the group reminisced about meeting contestants with the same names as them.
‘We’ve had contestants named Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan,’ Perry shared.
‘I met a Ryan Seacrest,’ Seacrest chimed. ‘I met them. Met her.’
A surprised Perry asked, ‘Her name is Ryan Seacrest?’ to which Seacrest confirmed, ‘Her name is Ryan Seacrest.’
Perry added, ‘We met us. It was wild.’

Seacrest has also spent the last several years working on Live with Kelly and Ryan alongside co-host Kelly Ripa.
He worked alongside the actress on the morning show for six seasons before announcing his exit a few weeks ago.
The On the Air host will say on the show until the spring. He will be replaced by Ripa’s actor husband, Mark Consuelos.
‘I made the decision to make this my last season on Live with Kelly and Ryan. Which is bittersweet,’ Seacrest said on the show.
A somber Ripa – who has been the show’s mainstay since 2001 – clutched his arm and said she ‘understood his decision-making fully.’

A source close to Ryan told DailyMail.com: ‘This decision was difficult to make, but he never planned on doing this for 6 seasons… he’s ready to explore other opportunities.’
In an Instagram post shortly after the announcement, he said: ‘I’m going to miss my work wife and all the laughter we share.
‘When I signed on to host Live in 2017 it was meant to be for 3 years, but I loved the job and working with Kelly so much that I extended my time and last year I made the decision to stay on for one more final season.
‘I’ve been grateful to be able to share a cup of coffee with our viewers everyday, one of the best parts of the gig.’
