Margot Robbie doesn’t recommend having sex on a huge pile of cash after revealing how a certain The Wolf of Wall Street scene gave her ‘a million paper cuts’.
I like how she assumes we have a random pile of cash lying around conveniently but hey – maybe some of you do!
The Australian actor famously starred in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, who portrayed the true life story of former millionaire stockbroker Jordan Belfort.
Robbie played the role of Naomi Lapaglia, who was Belfort’s fictional second wife.
Recalling one of the many crazy sex scenes in the 2013 movie, Robbie says real money is a lot softer than fake movie money.
In a 2017 interview with The Daily Beast, Robbie explained: “I got a million paper cuts on my back from all that money! It’s not as glamorous as it sounds.
“If anyone is ever planning on having sex on top of a pile of cash: don’t.

“Maybe real money is a bit softer, but the fake money is like paper, and when I got up off the bed, I turned around to get my robe and everyone gasped.
“I said, ‘What is it?’ And they said, ‘you look like you’ve been whipped a million times. Your back is covered in a thousand red scratches’.”
Back in 2015, Robbie revealed an embarrassing moment on set when DiCaprio’s e-cigarette accidentally got stuck in her butt.
She previously told The Talk that she was unsure if the Titanic actor wanted her to share the story.
“I don’t know if he wants me telling this story, but we’d just finished this scene and Leo always carries an e-cigarette with him, like all the time,” she explained.

“So he hid it under a pillow while we were shooting. Afterwards … he’s like, ‘Where is it? Where did I put it? I had it right here’.
“I was looking around with him – both still sitting in this bed – and then I went, ‘Oh, um, it’s literally, like, in my butt crack. I’m sitting on it. I am so sorry’.

“He probably threw it away. It was so embarrassing. So yeah, sex scenes are super sexy.”
The fact the e-cig somehow jumped from underneath his pillow to her butt crack is a bit strange but there you go.
“It doesn’t come across when you’re watching the movie, but in reality we’re in a tiny bedroom with 30 crew crammed in,” Robbie told Porter magazine in 2017.
“For 17 hours I’m pretending to be touching myself.
“It’s just a very weird thing and you have to bury the embarrassment and absurdity, really deep, and fully commit.”
