Margot Robbie is set to make an extraordinary amount of money from her new movie Barbie.
The Australian actress, 32, is the executive producer of the new film and also plays the lead role.
Media insider Peter Ford revealed on Channel Seven‘s The Morning Show, Margot is set to cash in big time if the film is a success.
‘It’s getting a lot of traction. It looks great, certainly very bright,’ he explained.
‘The important thing about this story is Margot Robbie not just is the star of it but she is the executive producer who was right behind it.’

The comedy is set to land in theatres on July 21, 2023, with Margot leading the cast as the eponymous Barbie doll alongside her boyfriend Ken, played by Ryan Gosling.
The cast is a who’s who of Hollywood powerhouses, with Will Ferrell playing the CEO of Mattel, and Helen Mirren as the narrator.
Marvel star Simu Liu, Issa Rae, Michael Cera, and Kate McKinnon star as inhabitants of Barbieland, while Rhea Perlman, America Ferrera, and Alexandra Shipp are also attached to the film.

Dua Lipa, who also plays one of the Barbies, will be releasing a hit written especially for the movie, MailOnline has revealed.
The film is directed by Greta Gerwig, who wrote the screenplay with her partner Noah Baumbach.
The film is based on the fashion doll line by Mattel, where the CEO Mattell Ynon Kreiz said the company expected the Barbie product to continue growing, adding: ‘We couldn’t be more excited about Barbie’s long-term prospects.’
The Barbie brand generated over £1 billion in gross sales last year and the doll turned 64 this year, first debuting the original on March 9, 1959.
