Thai dance
It can be said that Lisa is one of the most famous dance queens in Kpop, incorporating traditional Thai dances into Lisa’s MV this time is a must. One element that really stands out is what Lisa’s dancers showcase in each shot.

Notably, the choreography this time is related to the Thousnad hands Guan Yin dance , which reflects a Buddhist legend. The dance, conceived by a Chinese choreographer, is very popular in Thailand, where more than 90% of the people (including Lisa herself) are Buddhist.
Thai costume
Lisa also included Thai traditional costume design in Lalisa MV . Perhaps the most striking element is the mongkut headdress (also known as chada) that the singer wears throughout the entire scene in the MV.
Symbolizing royalty, these headdresses are used as crowns in Southeast Asian countries like Thailand and are often associated with Buddha.
In the same scene, viewers can see Lisa wearing a beautiful gold dress custom-designed by local Thai designer, Asava, which aims to be a modern rendition of traditional Thai clothing. such as sabai (chest scarf) and zin (wrapped sarong).
Thailand language
The path that Lisa walks down in the opening of Lalisa MV may look like an ordinary road, but it is actually a crossroads of many cultures.

Thailand
In the first Visual teaser (short trailer in the MV) for the song released late last month, in the scene, Lisa is illuminated by lightning bolts.
The image of lightning in the visual teaser MV Lalisa coincides with the map of Thailand.
Maybe viewers will see the shape of lightning that looks random, but in fact, if you look closely, it is lightning that outlines the map of Thailand.
