Cristiano Ronaldo could be reunited with a former Manchester United team-mate in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Brazillian full-back Alex Telles was shipped out on a season long loan deal to LaLiga side Sevilla by United boss Erik ten Hag last year but will return to Manchester at the end of the current campaign.
Telles’ future looks to be away from Old Trafford and Ronaldo’s Saudi Arabian based team Al-Nassr are looking at signing him on a permanent basis, according to Spanish media outlet AS.
United have ample cover at left-back in the forms of regular starter Luke Shaw and summer acquisition Tyrell Malacia, along with academy talent Brandon Williams.
That leaves Telles on the outside looking in with a move away from the Premier league giants the most likely of outcomes when the transfer market opens.

The 30-year-old only joined United in 2020 under then-Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who oversaw Telles’ £15.4million move from Porto.
His four-year deal still has a year to run and his existing wage is reportedly putting off a number of potential suitors. Although Al-Nassr apparently don’t view that as a problem.
The Saudi Pro League club have spent heavily on European superstars in an effort to raise the profile of Middle Eastern football, most notably the signing of Ronaldo.
The Portuguese superstar saw his contract terminated at United when he ripped into the club, his former team-mates and Ten Hag during an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

That paved the way for Al-Nassr to recruit one of football’s biggest names, with Ronaldo agreeing a £175m-a-year contract.
Telles has endured a relatively busy season in Spain for Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side, making 35 appearances in all competitions that also saw him come off the bench in Sevilla’s 3-0 Europa League quarter-final victory over United.
He is still a foundation of the Brazil national team and was picked for the South American nation’s disappointing World Cup campaign. A move to the lesser Saudi league could place his international future in doubt.
Former club Galatasaray are also touted as another possible destination for the left-back.
