A classic case of ‘keep your friends close and enemies closer’ is seen in a video that has caught the internet’s fancy. Posted by Indian Forest Services(IFS) officer Sushanta Nanda, it shows a frog coolly slithering down a snake’s back, without any care in the world.
It looks like the frog, which in this very case is a prey, is enjoying a ride on its predator, the snake’s back.
The amphibian is slithering down the reptile’s back in the most ‘chill’ way possible. With just no worry in the world, it is enjoying quite a fun ride just slithering down its predator’s back.
Very often, not just us, even animals like to stay away from their enemies. They do not want to get into a confrontation with them so that they get eaten at the end of it. However, some circumstances lead us to take help from that very enemy itself.
A frog on a snake’s back is not a very rare sight. A month or two earlier, Nanda had posted a similar video with a frog perched upon the reptile’s back to support itself.
Needless to say, the video has gone viral. Till now, it has garnered around 18,600 views with 313 retweets and 2100 likes. The momentum is also increasing slowly and steadily.
Netizens were also quite thrilled and intrigued after seeing the video. “That’s the legend’s way,” one user commented. Another one commented on the amphibian’s swag in the whole ordeal.
“Hence the expression- keep your friends close and enemies closer. Practiced in the world of politics, diplomacy, corporates, amongst others,” another user quipped in in the comments section.
A user made a rather funny analogy as well, “Maybe Rajinikanth of the frog world.”
