Winter Blues? These Special-Edition Jeep Wranglers Will Make Ya Feel Just Beachy

Get ready for Jeep Beach Week (and more weekends at the beach) with the Jeep Wrangler High Tide and Jeep Beach.

They’re back. We’re not talking the landline, VCRs, film cameras, dial-up internet, paper maps, CD binders, floppy disks, library cards, calculators, slide projectors, fax machines, or Polaroid cameras (wait, those never left). Not that far back. We’re talking about a duo of special edition Jeep Wrangler off-roaders, the High Tide and Jeep Beach, both of which were available for 2022 and are now back for 2023. So technically, they’re back, but never left. Now we all feel old for no reason. Sorry about that.

Ironically, the idea of a special edition Wrangler is almost an oxymoron simply because their abundance in variety inherently threatens their specialness. Alas, Jeep fans soak ’em up and hence, long liveth the Jeep Wrangler special edition/trim level/special level trim edition.

The Wrangler High Tide, based on the Sport S trim, has the Wrangler’s baseline 3.6-liter V-6 paired with the eight-speed automatic transmission. Its most functional upgrade is the Xtreme Recon Package, which adds 35-inch BF Goodrich tires, 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a 4.56 rear axle ratio, and a 1.5-inch suspension lift.  Stylistically, the High Tide has a body-color hardtop, Sunrider Fliptop, and High Tide hood decals. Additionally, rock rails, LED headlights and fog lamps, and interior sand/slush mats keep adventures safer, less destructive, and clean(er).

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler High Tide comes with a $53,335 price tag and is available for order now, with arrivals in time for Jeep Beach Week in Daytona Beach, Florida, in April 2023.

Of the High Tide models built, a super exclusive 500 examples will be designated as Jeep Beach models, paying homage to the Jeep Beach event. (Hint: If you’re not into Jeep Beach, this special edition probably won’t be a good fit.) This event attracts 20,000 Jeep vehicles, with over 3,500 Jeeps driving on the beach during the infamous Jeep Beach Parade.

As 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the massive event, the Jeep Beach special edition has a special shifter medallion in addition to Jeep Beach hood decals that are different than last year’s, Jeep Beach-embroidered Mopar Katzkin leather seats, body-color fenders, and a Jeep Beah swing gate plaque. The Jeep Beach runs $55,835 and will be ready for attendance at the upcoming 20th Jeep Beach event.
