The Oscar-winner tried something different and hit a home run with her all-black ensemble for the evening honoring Matthew McConaughey
Anne Hathaway has discovered the two reasons why one should go gothic.
Firstly, because there’s only ten days until Halloween. Secondly, because she looks stone cold gorgeous sporting it.
The actress channelled her darker side while attending the American Cinematheque Award ceremony in Beverly Hills.

It was a special occasion for the 31-year-old as her Instellar co-star Matthew McConaughey was being honoured at the star-studded event.
But while it may have been the actor’s time to shine, Anne was bringing the brightness down a notch with her all-black ensemble for the evening.
And in the same way that Morticia Addams nailed the gloomy attire, so to did the leading lady as she graced the red carpet.

That’s not to say that the Oscar-winner hadn’t chosen the exact right place to add a bit of colour.
Her deep-shaded lipstick only made her look like a seductive temptress as she rubbed shoulders with the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner.
The Hollywood starlet even gave Kate Hudson a run for her money who was wearing a sequinned gown in stark contrast to her own.
