“Who Says” she needs a partner to throw a wedding?
The former Disney Channel star revealed she threw herself a star-studded “wedding” on her 30th birthday despite being single.
“I thought I would be married by now, so I threw myself a wedding,” she told Rolling Stone for the outlet’s latest cover story.
The party, which took place over the summer in celebration of her big day on July 22, was an A-list soirée.
Gomez explained the guest list featured people who had an influence on her life throughout her 20s, including Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Francia Raisa, Camila Cabello and Billie Eilish.
“We had lovely drinks, and it was beautiful, and then my friend Cara [Delevingne] comes in and brings strippers,” she told the outlet ahead of the release of her new Apple TV+ documentary, “My Mind and Me.”
“So I would like to say it was a mixture of sophisticated and hysterical.”
At the time, the “Only Murders in the Building” star described her 20s as “good, hard and beautiful.”
“I am someone who is still learning, but is more certain about what matters and what she wants,” Gomez captioned an Instagram photo following the celebration.

Their final breakup came in March 2018, just months before the “Baby” singer, 28, proposed to now-wife Haley Baldwin in the Bahamas.
She as also been linked to stars including The Weeknd, Zedd, Niall Horan and Nick Jonas, although she’s largely kept her dating life under wraps.

The “Lose You To Love Me” singer also got candid about her mental health in the new documentary, revealing she suffered a “breakdown” during her 2016 “Revival” tour that left her feeling like she wanted to die.
“At one point she’s like, ‘I don’t want to be alive right now. I don’t want to live,’” her former assistant Theresa said.
“And I’m like, ‘Wait, what?’” Theresa recalled. “It was one of those moments where you look in her eyes and there’s nothing there. It was just pitch black. It’s so scary.
“You’re like, ‘F–k this. This needs to end. We need to go home.’”
