I had a lot of possible candidates in mind for the ally Vegapunk called in Chapter 1071, but something clicked earlier when I was watching a chapter reaction. The criteria for who this person could be are as follows: – Someone who would instill unanimous confidence in the Vegapunk escape mission, be it via strength, reliability, anything that would help protect them from CP0. – Someone who would be putting themself at risk of discovery by the World Government. – Obviously, someone who is allied with Vegapunk and has been awaiting a potential order. So a lot of ideas have been…

I have been thinking about recent events in the manga related to a location that “never exist”, and how that could all tie into what the Poneglyphs tell us about the Ancient Weapons and how it may give some information about Zunesha’s crime. The Poneglyphs tell the history of the Void Century, and they were likely created and dispersed toward the end of the Void Century by the Kozuki clan to their allies. Some of what we know about what these Poneglyphs tell us may give some clues to what Zunesh’s crime was and how it may be…

I thought this was common knowledge, but the more I discuss Marco these days the more I see how half the people have no clue how his power works. So let’s break it down. 1) Marco’s regeneration has a limit. This was confirmed by Oda in a SBS. Question: Hello for the first time, Oda-sensei. I’ve read all the previous 57 volumes, and I was thinking, I don’t quite understand how “Phoenix Marco”‘s Zoan fruit of the “legendary beast” kind is different from Ace’s “Meramera” fruit. P.N. CNY Oda: Yeah, I know… I’ve omitted the explanation from this war arc, because I…

We know Shanks is very similar to Tyr in Norse mythology, who maintains law and order and keeps balance. A one armed swordsman. Keeps the peace ends wars. We could see his and Blackbeard’s opposite nature as he tried to prevent the war before it happened whille Blackbeard was in the works to initiate it. Shanks wants to prevent the era from spiralling into chaos. He ceases the war at Marineford. He fears the ambition of Blackbeard. As we know from the Norse mythology, Fenrir the wolf son of Loki at Ragnarok creates chaos and destruction. Ragnarok which signals…

After a long wait, the highly anticipated One Piece Episode 1046 is finally back this week. Episode 1046 is titled “Taking a Chance! Both Wings Go into Battle!”, which will air on January 8, 2023, at 9.30 am JST. The upcoming episode will most likely focus on the returns of both Zoro and Sanji to fighting action, with the former’s injuries finally beginning to “heal.” While this healing process is somewhat synthesized by essentially blocking Zoro’s sensations of pain, it will nevertheless allow him to return to the battlefield as a key player. Fans are expected to…

Matching crews and drawing parallels became the norme in our community and with the recent chapters people became very toxic about how certain Yonko Commanders aren’t living up to their names like King and expecting more comparing him to the likes of Katakuri or Marco. I want to show that there’s no “Yonko First Commander (YC1) level”; it’s simplistic view that got built inside the community and it stuck but if you look deep in the story Oda has never portrayed Yonko 1st Commanders as a faction nor has he ever grouped people like Beckman, Marco, Katakuri, King,…

I’ve noticed that we have two completely separate perceptions of the “Admirals” and “Yonko” level characters over the two eras that we have witnessed. I think everyone is in agreement that the previous generation of Admiral-level Marines, Garp and Sengoku, were equal to the Yonko/Greatest Pirates of their era such as Whitebeard, Roger, and Shiki. But now it seems like the general perception is that the current generation of top Marines (Akainu, Aokiji, Kizaru, Fujitora, etc) are all weaker than the Great Pirates/Yonkou of this era. So exactly what happened here? And why did the perception…

10- VISTA “Flower Sword” Vista is the 5th division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. He is one of the most prominent members of his crew.Vista has extraordinary mastery in dual wielding swordsmanship and even Mihawk acknowledges his skills. He even managed to deflect Mihawk’s flying slash attack which is powerful enough to cut through battleships. In the anime, he was also able to block bullets with his swords to protect his allies from being shot while escaping.Another indication of his strength is that during the Battle of Marineford, despite having fought against individual Shichibukai and Admirals as well as numerous Marine officers, he…

John Irons: “What is Luffy’s mother like? Was she beautiful? What happened to her? Did she die when Luffy was a baby?” Oda: “I think she’s alive. I’m still thinking hard about this. [Laughs] But if she does appear in the story, then she’ll be a very tough-looking woman. And strict. There’s no way that she’s a beautiful mother. She’s got this typical middle-aged woman’s permed hair. Speaking about families, I did a backstory for Nico Robin and her family. That was actually the first time for me to draw a mother in a character’s memory. Up until that point,…

One Piece was originally supposed to be a story to fight Yonko, not Shichibukai. 7- Supernovas still surviving in New World. Oda thought about half of them would have dropped out already. 8- Trafalgar D. Water Law being an important character. Oda thought Eustass Kid would become an important character, though.

I saw an excellent comment on YouTube from an individual named zexxer on Tekking101s newest video that got my brain thinking about who the ally Vegapunk mentioned in 1071 could be. I think it’s Scopper Gaban for 3 reasons. 1 — There’s a Japanese TV Show produced by TOEI called Space Sheriff Gavan, with main character Space Cop Gaban. Scopper Gaban is based off of this character. The crazy part is that apparently in this show, Gaban uses a power called “scooper” TO SAVE A FAMOUS PROFESSOR. 2 — This arc is clearly the Sabaody Archipelago…

#SMILEY Smiley was a pet of Caesar Clown. It was created by gathering and compressing the poisonous H2S gas that spread throughout Punk Hazard and using Vegapunk’s process of Zoan devil fruit animation to bring it to life.Smiley consumed the Sara Sara no Mi, Model: Axolotl, which allowed it to take on the form of an axolotl. It is also what gave Smiley life and sentience. However, given its unique composition, it is very likely that it could only assume a hybrid form and not a full-beast form. #MONET Monet was a scout and assistant for Caesar Clown…

So this is an old theory I discovered a while back, initially I was sceptical of it but found it interesting nonetheless so it kind of stuck to me. Since the reveal of Roger’s backstory I’ve come to believe it could be a possibility. Basically it’s that Shanks travelled to the East Blue for the sole purpose to find Roger’s son Ace so that he could inspire him to inherit Rogers will and search for the One Piece but instead chose Luffy. Following Roger’s backstory, Roger confidently believed his son would be the one to find the One…

First I call Weevil the illegitimate child of Whitebeard because I am 100% sure he is not Whitebeard’s son. Whitebeard obviously has much more morals than Bakkin, so there is no way he actually fell in love for her. It is 100% true she hooked up with one hell of a fighter though. The illegitimate child’s character design and unique characteristics are key. Further anti-Whitebeard context is that he talks like a country-bumkin. Although Whitebeard uses stereotypical “tough-guy” talk, he is actually very refined in how he talks (think of the flashback on Whitebeard saying his dream…

Normally, a bounty is issued by a Government official or by the Marines. The idea is to tempt others into aiding the capture of the criminal so they can be brought to justice quickly. A bounty reflects both the threat and power of an individual. Engaging in activities deemed criminal by the World Government or associating with groups which engage in them is enough to warrant significant bounties, even if the criminal is not powerful themselves. In particular, direct opposition to the World Government, no matter the reason, is treated as a serious offense, and bounties are issued…

I just read a theory about the big straw hat in Mary Geoise and how every hole in the wall could represent a grave of Joy Boy through centuries. That got me thinking about Wano. What if the story of Wano and Kaido, a long winter, the Dawn and the prophecy of Toki is kind of parallel to the Void Century? There was an Ancient Kingdom confronted with total destruction, but there was a prophecy even in darkest time about a person that would bring the Dawn, Joy Boy. First Joy Boy that left Poneglyph in Fish-Man…

Roger and Garp were essentially two massive gigachads in their day. Middle aged men who duked it out without devil fruits. Garp throws hands and Roger swings his Supreme Grade sword. Roger’s been confirmed a user of all three types of Haki, and we’ve seen him use contactless blows using Conqueror’s Haki coating. This either means Garp had such overwhelmingly powerful Armament Haki that he could match a Supreme Grade sword coated with Conqueror’s Haki with just his fists, or, and far more likely, he also possesses Conqueror’s Haki and literally matched Roger, blow for blow. Here’s my…

Kaido and Mihawk both recognised Zoro’s Conqueror’s Haki through an all-or nothing attack. Zoro’s spirit or presence has been commented on by other characters such as Urashima and Monet,…

This is about Dragon mostly, why he wants to destroy specifically the Celestial Dragons. Not Marines. Okay, so there are many theories existing about Monkey D. Maybe his time with CP or as a Marine wasn’t what caused him to revolt.Well first off I do not think that Dragon is a Marine, just because no one really was aware of his existence in the past Reverie when in Alabasta saga we had that…

In One Piece Chapter 1071, Vegapunks talk about one more person staying on Egghead who can help them escape CP0, I believe this person to be none other than Urouge. Urouge is hiding on Egghead Island. As we all know the last remaining Supernova that has no interaction with the Straw Hats is Urouge. Meanwhile we’re nearing the end of the game. Also,  may be related to recent plot setups with Seraphim and the introduction of King as Lunarian since Urouge is a Skypiean or Lunarian or whatever. (Both race’s have wings, maybe it’s a stretch but I’m assuming…
